Advice for new cohorts of this class / Things for us to remember.

Patience
Open up more spaces to share and be respected for ourselves.
Communication. If we don’t, we don’t understand what we’re supposed to be doing.
Take more time together as a small project group.
It’s good to spend time getting to know each other as human beings
Don’t be afraid to befriend, learn from, and love the people around you.
It’s okay to wear your heart on your sleeve.
Don’t overthink.
Tell yourself you’re not shit, but know somewhere you are beautiful. Neither is more important than the other.
Embrace this space.
Be okay being part of the process but not the process itself.
Recognize the role that we have in the process.
Frustration is a good thing; it means that we’re passionate. This is the first time I’ve seen a class like this walk the talk.
